What is hoof stuff or hoof putty?
Hoof stuff is a fibrous paste that is inserted into the cavities of the hoof. Its main function is to:
- to fill holes and cracks (often following an abscess, detachment of the white line, etc.),
- to protect the area in the long term by preventing the entry of new bacteria or impurities,
- and actively act to sanitize the area thanks to its natural ingredients with antibacterial and healing properties.
It differs from liquid or spray products by its ability to stay in place, even in the most demanding conditions (humid environment, horses in the pasture, etc.).
OZONE HOOF STUFF: A new generation of hoof sealant

When and how to use hoof stuff
Hoof sealant is recommended in many cases:
- After an abscess burst and left a cavity in the horn,
- In the event of cracks or deep, at-risk areas (particularly in the white line),
- To clean deep cracks , which are often difficult to dry completely,
- On hooves showing signs of delamination, cracks, or material loss.
Instructions for using hoof stuff:
- Clean the cavity thoroughly, ideally with a brush and disinfectant spray.
- Take a small amount of product and form a compact strand with your fingers.
- Firmly pack the sealant into the cavity using a hoof pick or a clean tool.
- Check the fit: it must adhere to the walls and not come loose.
- Leave in place. Reapply daily or every 2–3 days as needed.
